Cut out Alcohol

Here are 4 reasons to cut out or cut back on alcohol.

1)  Better sleep.  Even though a nightcap may help you relax and fall asleep faster, it’ll make the second half of your sleep cycle restless and unsatisfying. Alcohol decreases deep sleep and increases arousals from sleep. If you like a glass of wine in the evening, have it with dinner—around 6 p.m. rather than 11 p.m.—and drink in moderation, so it’ll wear off by the time you lie down.

2) Shrink that waist.  Calories from alcohol are basically empty apart from the anti-oxidants contained in a glass of quality red wine. So any excess alcohol calories especially when combined with food will turn straight into fat.

3)  Your organs will work better.  Drinking puts a huge amount of strain on your liver and pancreas and this damage can take a long time to heal.  In addition, your damaging your “filter” that protects your body against toxins we encounter.  Hence, taking longer to recover.

4)  Save money.  Need I say more?
